Under the steady guidance of the "dual carbon" goal, China's photovoltaic industry has achieved rapid development in recent years and has become the world's largest producer and application of photovoltaics for many consecutive years.

The global solar energy market size in 2022 is approximately 230GW, with China's newly added photovoltaic grid connected installed capacity reaching 87.41GW, and the industry's total output value exceeding 1.4 trillion yuan.

In 2023, there has been a rapid development. According to data from the National Energy Administration, from January to September 2023, China added 128.94GW of photovoltaic installed capacity, a year-on-year increase of 121.39%.

However, at the same time, a large number of aluminum extrusion enterprises, especially leading enterprises, are also laying out solar frame profiles every year. Therefore, although the demand for the photovoltaic industry has increased in recent years, due to the rapid increase in production capacity and the pressure on downstream industries, the processing fees for photovoltaic frames have been severely internalized, which has also laid significant hidden dangers.

 

From July in 2023, the number of new installed solar panel units began to decline monthly.
